Apparel is one of the most appealing products that companies and individuals alike use to create that special image. We see it in the workplace, embroidered and screen printed to reflect the message and professionalism each company wants to project. It's used in entertainment, recreation and more.
The nice part about apparel is it's somewhat easy to create the image you are wanting for your company or special event. The above catalogs are a great way to see what is available in the marketplace. You may quickly notice that pricing for a polo shirt can range from below $10 to upwards of $50 or more. Sometimes price is a pretty good indicator of the quality of the garment... but not always.
In our showroom we have upwards of 300 samples for you to touch and feel. I know it may be hard to believe, but we have worn almost all of the samples in our showroom so we can tell you how they wore. We wash them many times, wear them and if they pass the test, we add them to our line of solutions for our clients. If you can, always stop by our showroom. It is a great learning tool we have and you are more likely to make an educated choice.
Apparel Pricing is based on several factors:
- Quantity of Shirts/garment/items
- Type of Garment: T-shirt, Polo, Jacket, Cap, Tote bag, Towel, Tank Top
- Long sleeve shirts tend to be more expensive than short sleeve shirts
- Pocketed T-shirts are more expensive than ones without a pocket
- Fashion fitted T-shirts are twice the price of regulare Tees
- 2XL and larger at more expensive
- Quicker turnaround time is more expensive than normal turnaround time
- Location of the embroidery/print such as on the front, back, sleeve, etc.
Fabrics
Not all fabrics are created equal. Jersey knit, nylon, canvas are all nice fabrics to screen print or to press. The characteristic of the fabric - smooth, ie. t-shirts
Fabrics that are pitted (Pique) that are used for many polos and golf shirts is not ideal for screen print. The surface of the fabric is rough which we often refer to this surface type as "waffle weave". Embroidery does OK on Pique fabric if the image does not have a lot of detail or print associated with it. The best fabrics for embroidery are woven shirts and other tight woven materials.
During the ordering process we will discuss the fabric type of the product you have choosen. We'll indicate how your logo or image will appear after applying and washing.
Take a gander at the various catalogs above which offer thousands of styles and colors for you to choose from. After viewing, stop on by the showroom and let us help you confirm your choice. We look forward to seeing soon.
